Tameside Polling District and Polling Places Review 2024

Tameside Council is required to conduct a Polling District and Polling Places Review that must conclude by 31 January 2025.

A consultation will take place between 9 October and 5 November 2024. Representations from residents, elected members, and any persons with expertise concerning accessibility, such as disability and community groups, are welcome.

Residents can have their say by phone, email, or completing the online form below.

The review ensures that the polling districts and polling places in Tameside’s Parliamentary Constituencies suit the needs of voters and covers:

  • Each ward’s polling district boundaries
  • The location of each polling district’s polling places
  • The accessibility of polling stations

Polling stations should be accessible in terms of geography and accommodate all voters.

Polling stations will not be changed without good reason.

The Tameside Polling District and Polling Places Review 2024 is not a review of:

  • Parliamentary constituency boundaries
  • Local government ward boundaries
