MYTH: Speaking 2 or more languages to a child can ‘confuse’ them, so it is better to speak only 1 language.
 
FACT: All children are capable of learning multiple languages and will learn best from the language that is your strongest.
 

• When you talk to your child use the language you are most confident in.  This will mean your child is getting a strong language model they can use to develop their language.
