Tameside Together Event planned to celebrate and build stronger communities

ALL residents are invited to a Tameside Together event to celebrate diversity and inclusion with all our communities in the borough.

The event will take place on Friday 25 October, from 1:30pm until 4pm, at Dukinfield Town Hall.

West African Development and Khush Amdid have linked with Tameside Council to host the community cohesion event.

Refreshments will be provided while key speakers, including officers from Greater Manchester Police and the council, give an insight into cohesion work and the importance of unity and harmony.

A Tameside spokesperson said: “This is a great chance for all residents to work towards Tameside’s shared purpose of diversity, cohesion and united communities.

It’s going to be a fantastic and essential gathering, filled with discussion and celebration. Together, we’ll support our resilient communities making us all stronger and more united.

“As a borough we highly value diversity, and we want to take every opportunity there is to celebrate it.”
