Winners revealed for the Pride of Tameside Business Awards

The glittering award ceremony took place last night for the Pride of Tameside Business Awards at Dukinfield Town Hall.
The awards were supported by our fantastic headline sponsors Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub and Visual Architects, with each award category being sponsored by local businesses.
Tameside College and Brand Twelve went above and beyond to ensure event was a great success, providing extra support in both the planning and event itself.
Hosted by TV Stars Danny Miller and Daniel Jillings, the awards were a true celebration of local businesses that really highlighted the achievements, amazing businesses and people across the borough. Over two hundred local businesses and stakeholders attended the event, and the businesses community was out to show their support of each other.

- Entrepreneur of the Year – Candy’s Cupcakes
- Creative Business of the year - 344 Audio
- Manufacturing/Engineering Business of the Year - Hyde Group Limited
- Construction/Property Business of the Year - Bathrooms by Timothy Michael
- Childcare/Social Care Business of the Year - The Yellow Door Day Nursery
- Tech/Digital Business of the Year - MBH Global Circular Technology Services
- Social Enterprise/Charity/CIC of the Year - Manchester Bike Kitchen
- Green Impact Business of the Year - Tameside Community Computers CIC
For the first time, a Special Recognition Award was given to recognise a business who, over the last year, has achieved something extra special. This award was given to Visual Architects paying highlight to the tenacity and determination that they have shown since a fire severally impacted their business, in addition to their dedication to the Tameside community. The Judges felt that their efforts were truly deserving of that extra recognition.
Councillor Gerald Cooney, Executive Leader of Tameside Council said: “The award ceremony was a fantastic celebration of the success and achievements of all our businesses across Tameside. We wanted it to be an evening which highlighted all the brilliant businesses across all sectors that employ local people and boost our economy. They are the lifeblood of our borough, and we are proud of them.”
