Tameside libraries are committed to being an inclusive, safe, and welcoming space for everyone in our community, including LGBTQIA+ users. We celebrate diversity and strive to create an environment where individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions feel respected, supported, and valued.

Our collections include a range of LGBTQIA+ books, resources, and stories that reflect the experiences of the community, but we are always open to suggestions to make sure our stock remains relevant. 

We are here to listen, learn, and grow with our community, ensuring our library remains a space where everyone belongs.
