Kings Trust TEAM Programme
King's Trust Team Programme - Greater Manchester Fire Rescue Service
The TEAM programme is a great way to develop skills, gain qualifications, build confidence and meet new people. During the course you will attend a one week residential where you will take part in outdoor activities, some of which include rock scrambling, canoeing, abseiling and caving; you will also complete two weeks of work experience, a two-week community project, and firefighter experience days with our operational crews.
On completion of the course, you will gain a Level 1 qualification in Employability, Teamwork and Community Skills, along with additional qualifications in:
- Emergency First Aid at Work (HSE Approved)
- Health and Safety & Manual Handling
- Basic Food Hygiene (certified by CIEH)
Bike Kitchen
Free sessions on learning to ride a bike or to gain more confidence in bike riding.
There are also sessions on bike repairs for different ability levels.
