Cemetery & Crematorium Fees 2025
The Council provides cemeteries at Ashton, Audenshaw, Denton, Droylsden, Dukinfield, Hyde, Mossley and Mottram and has a crematorium in Dukinfield.

Memorials
All memorials are on a lease period. At the end of the lease terms, if the memorial is not renewed, the plaque becomes the property of the Council. Should any family wish to take the plaque away from the site for their own personal use, a nominal fee is payable to the Council.
The following fees are only applicable on certain memorials, unless separately stated, for more information please contact the cemetery office. All memorials can be ordered online at: www.tameside.gov.uk/bereavement

Cemetery Fees – Resident discount.
The exclusive right of burial and all interment fees are subject to a discounted rate for Tameside residents. Eligibility for the resident discount is determined by either the current residential address of the deceased or the proposed grave owner at the time of application. Evidence of such may be requested.
