Trees and Landscaping on Development Sites
Supplementary Planning Document
The Trees and Landscaping on Development Sites SPD sets out the Council's approach towards the standard of information required in relation to landscaping schemes in development proposals and guidance on the protection of trees during construction. It will help developers prepare and submit high quality and attractive landscape schemes and will help to ensure that all matters to do with trees and landscaping are fully integrated into the planning and design process.
The final document was approved and adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on 29th March 2007 by Councillor Alan Whitehead, Cabinet Deputy for Technical Services and forms part of the Council's Local Development Framework.
