About the Market

Hyde outdoor market is at the centre of the town, strategically placed on a recently renovated civic square. It boasts 48 newly constructed all weather stalls and operates 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday. On Mondays you can enjoy a good browse round the increasingly popular flea market which provides the opportunity for shoppers to have a good browse amongst items not often seen.

The outdoor market stages regular events including walkabout characters, jazz and samba bands and boasts a roundabout that has been on the market for 75 years. (Pics attached)
Hyde Market has good disabled access. There are various car parks which are within easy walking distance, with plenty of disabled parking facilities. There’s good access to public transport with Hyde Bus Station only a short walk away.
On visiting Hyde’s indoor market hall you’ll get a really great welcome. A variety of local groups, taking part in a community arts project have created an eye-catching mural to mark the way into the indoor market hall from the Clarendon Square Shopping Centre.

Inside the market hall there are 70 stalls offering a wide range of food, including fresh meat, fruit and vegetables and a tripe specialist. As well as clothing, household goods and lots, lots more.
