Tell the operation which emergency service you require:
- Fire
- Police
- Ambulance
- Mountain Rescue
Wait for the BT Operator to connect you to the emergency service
Police - Non Emergency
Police – 101 – you should call 101 to report crime and other concerns that do not require and an emergency response.
NHS – 111 – you should call 111 if you urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation.
You should always call 999 when it is an emergency such as when a crime is in progress, where there is danger to life or when violence is being used or threatened.
